Banner Roofing & Construction provides exterior painting throughout DeSoto, TX, backed by GAF Master Elite certification — a distinction held by roughly 2% of roofing contractors nationwide — and a crew that treats every DeSoto property like it’s the only job on the schedule that day.
Why Property Owners in DeSoto Call Banner
Banner’s free roof inspections give DeSoto property owners a documented, no-obligation look at actual roof condition before any money changes hands.
On the Ground in DeSoto
A meaningful share of DeSoto’s roofs are original wood decking under later shingle layers, which changes the scope of a full tear-off compared with newer plywood or OSB decking. Storms that bring down limbs across DeSoto’s mature tree canopy are one of the more common causes of point-source roof damage here, as opposed to broad wind or hail damage across a whole roof. After a hard rain, expansive clay soil around DeSoto can shift enough to open small gaps at flashing and counter-flashing that were watertight the week before. For DeSoto homeowners, that means a roof that looks fine from the driveway can still have flashing or seal issues worth having a professional actually check.
Exterior Painting, Done Right
Banner’s exterior painting work for DeSoto properties starts with prep, not paint: pressure washing, scraping failing paint, priming bare wood or siding, and caulking gaps before the topcoat goes on. That sequence is what determines whether a paint job holds up through North Texas summers and storms or fails early.
