Banner Roofing & Construction provides gutter installation throughout DeSoto, TX, backed by GAF Master Elite certification — a distinction held by roughly 2% of roofing contractors nationwide — and a crew that treats every DeSoto property like it’s the only job on the schedule that day.
What Sets Banner Apart
Banner’s free roof inspections give DeSoto property owners a documented, no-obligation look at actual roof condition before any money changes hands.
What We See on DeSoto Roofs
Older roof systems in DeSoto were engineered to a different, lower wind-load standard than current code requires, which is worth knowing before assuming an aging roof will perform the same as a new one in a severe storm. Roofs under DeSoto’s heaviest tree canopy accumulate moss, debris and standing organic matter faster than open-lot roofs, which shortens shingle life if it isn’t cleared regularly. The blackland clay soil under much of DeSoto expands and contracts with North Texas’ wet-dry cycle, and that seasonal movement telegraphs up through the foundation into flashing, fascia and roof-to-wall transitions faster than most homeowners expect. For DeSoto homeowners, that means a roof that looks fine from the driveway can still have flashing or seal issues worth having a professional actually check.
The Banner Gutter Installation Process
Banner installs and repairs gutter systems for DeSoto properties, from full seamless gutter runs to gutter guards for homes under heavy tree cover. Correct slope and downspout placement matter as much as the gutter itself — the goal is moving water off the roof and away from the foundation, not just catching it.
